Tractor-Trailer Becomes Fully Engulfed In Flames On NJ Turnpike In Bordentown (Updated)

New Jersey State Police responded at 4:11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 11 to a vehicle fire on the New Jersey Turnpike south outers, milepost 53.7 in Bordentown Township, according to spokesman Trooper Troy McNair. Upon troopers' arrival, a Wabash tractor-trailer was found fully engulfed in flames, McNair said.  There were no injuries reported and the cause remains under investigation, he said. 27-Year-Old Woman Struck, Killed By Hit-Run Car In Woodbridge

Carla Andrea Mejia was walking in the westbound lane of Minnieville Road in Woodbridge wearing all dark clothing when she was struck around 11:35 p.m., Prince William County police said. The striking vehicle did not stop at the scene near Bobcat Court, police said.
